Yes.. Wisconsin has been hit with a lovely snow storm... and we are supposed to get up to 18 inches! And as such.. classes have officially been canceled by the chancellor :3

I completely fell on my butt walking down a hill too.. it's very slippery outside. And like a good college student I should be sleeping in, but I'm going to a rather early breakfast at 8:30 with some friends.

As Christmas break is coming up, I'd love to make/send anyone cards if they want... They might be a little late though. I have finals till next week Wednesday and after that I'll be home and cozy till January where I'll be at MCAD because of a very lovely scholarship I've acquired that makes it only a little more than where I'm at now. I'm really excited actually, and everything seems to going extremely well for me at the moment. I'd be glad to spread it around to everyone else too.

My latest work will be up after I get home... wish me and my friends luck this week!

I'm feeling better now since my last journal... some people threw rocks at me while I was walking back home that night and I was really mad about it...

In other news, I'm now a single girl. It's been 3 years since, and I'm learning how to be just me again. I'm content I think.

In other news, I'm going away on a retreat this weekend to the middle of nowhere where I will likely freeze because I don't own a sleeping bag or have that many blankets here with me. I'll be virtually unreachable till Sunday or so... so have a nice weekend!

For some reason, even though it is 45 degrees outside with even colder wind and it got down to 29 last night, we have to suffer under piles of blankets because they won't turn the heat on. I has even late to class this morning cuz I didn't want to get out of bed and I fell back to sleep. At least we weren't doing anything important and it wasn't a big deal.

I'm printing a project tonight and after I get it all put together I'll put pictures up. We designed a book jacket in graphics 2, so points to whoever can guess which book I chose (no guessing if you know) HINT: it's a pretty famous book.

Starting new projects in Ceramics and to my disgust it's another sculpture. I really want to throw more pots, but instead we are doing a non-functional teapot thingy... I'll take pictures of the thing I just finished by the end of the week and have them up, it's just drying out now really.

YES! I now have a premium account for a while.. and an interesting skin for my journal that's simple and not too scary or anything. There isn't really that much good stuff to choose from, but at some point I'll make my own, right now I'm lazy and have other things to do so this will do for now.

So I was talking about a ceramic artist in my journal from yesterday, well he's really a designer from Austria named Jutta Sika, and he designed the pieces for a ceramic manufacturing company, but they are still awesome ^_^

I saw the first blue set in Chicago....
